Get a MINI Cooper S, preferrably 2005 or 2006. That car is the true definition of pocket rocket and with a few choice modifications will kick some serious butt. The car with stock suspension handles like it is on rails and adding a nice rear sway bar gets rid of understeer.

I mention the specific years because those were the last of the R53 model with the supercharger. They did make the 2007 convertable S with the same engine as well. I'm in Burbank so if you ever want to check mine out for a comparison, just let me know.

Great suggestion, but I already have one! It has the full JCW package: supercharger upgrade to 200hp, suspension, front shock tower brace, and exhaust. With sticky Kumho tires, its a quick and fun car.

And have I seen you at Coogies yet with SCMM?

What do you guys and gals think about this one? Test driving this weekend. 1988 944 Turbo. 98K miles. Not sure about service history.

Looks like someone took care of it and didn't hack it all up. It is at the top of the price range for 951s, and a very different car than either the Boxster or the 996. Take her for a spin...

Just a personal preference, but I'd go with normally aspirated. Like an S2.

Great, but underappreciated platform, with decent HP, and no turbo lag.
