Pah, sentimental, modern muck......:p

Patti Page - How much is that doggie in the window .

Now that's a class act - listen to it 20 or 30 times and you'll be really into the groove.

Funny!
My Mother sang that in an elementary school talent show. (8th grade or lower.)
She would have been 80 this year.

She'd probably pick Ozzie and "School's out ...". ;)

My daughter's favorite song. Hey Porsche by Nelly. I continue to attempt to convince my wife it has no other undertones but talking about a Porsche. ;)

I would never assume to supplant JD. I was just curious what people were actually listening to/hearing at that moment in time. My ipod is always on shuffle and with better than 6,000 songs on there some odd things pop up.

Right now for example

We Built This City - Starship

And I don't really like this song, but it is on almost every 80's compilation:dance:

Speaking of Polish music, did you hear the one about the Polack who locked his keys and family in his boxster ? Fortunately, the top was down !

Listening to the lovely tones of a well shifted Boxster S taking the twisties.

Honestly, I just can't seem to shift properly if the music is too loud and I cant hear the engine, so I listen to the engine more than the music.

Evanescence - My Heart is Broken (Amy Lee what a voice!!!)

And being the decade of touchscreen video, I also WATCH the music videos at stops.

I'm enjoying this one, as we speak . . .

Very cool. I worked in LA radio for about 10 years in the late 80's to 90's. Great gig, just not stable!:(

Finnsal 07-11-2013 07:46 AM

My favourite summer cruising tunes this year are from Grace Potter; I'm listening to That Phone right now and singing loud!

Stiletto Pat 07-11-2013 02:22 PM

Favorite current music

Been jammin' with "A Space in Time" album, by Ten Years After, every since listening to it while driving in the Blue Ridge Mountains for the Blue Ridge Boxster Summit... Which by the way, I highly recommend to all of you for next year.

Great experience - nice people - lots of fun.

Pat
2003 S - Seal Gray

OHBoxsterS 07-12-2013 06:15 PM

Only have had my Boxster S for a few weeks. My favorite song for cruising is Warning Sign by Talking Heads from the cd The Name of This Band is Talking Heads (disc 2).

Disc 2 in general is a great disc to cruise to. Starts off with Psycho Killer. How can you go wrong? lol!
