I'm glad to hear that's all it was, and your car is back to perfect. If you don't mind me asking how many miles do you have on the coil packs? I replaced mine ~ 90K as a 'while you are in there' job when I was doing my clutch, IMS, RMS, and 90K service. What I found was shocking, all 6 were cracked, these are the worst two:

I've got to figure being low on the engine and somewhat exposed to the elements doesn't help the survivability of these.

Don't mind at all, 56000 mls.

Those coil packs look naaaasty!

The scary thing is the car ran just fine. I just figured at $30 each I should replace them while I was in there pulling plugs anyway.

Hammer, where did you get them for $30.00? The best prices I was able to find were:

Set of 6, Porsche, $312.00 at Suncoast
Each, OEM, $39.50 at Pelican.

My shop owner friend was able to order them from World Pack for something like $32 each. You might want to check with your local shop owner, they might be able to help you out.

Thanks Hammer.
