Convertible boxster hood wearing

Hi guys,

So I have bought my first porsche (a 1999 2.7) loving the car - a real fun toy especially when we get the weather!

One thing I have noticed is that the hood is developing a small wear patch on the top - drivers side (although hint of similar developing on the other side). I believe the hood has been replaced within the last year and otherwise looks good. It looks more like a little nick and I am worrying it may develop into a hole.

Is there anything that I can do to repair / prevent it developing further?

Any advice appreciated!

Luke

Hot glue to the underneath side?

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but I have the same problem. I was thinking of gluing a patch on the inside. Considering using a bicycle tube repair kit.

Any thoughts or opinions?

Thanks
