Sorry to hear what happened.
I can add a little help.
It's a cheap fix.
You can get carbon fiber vinyl wrap and do your hood in that.
Here's a link to a pic of a Porsche thats done it. Looks pretty good.

If you do go this route make sure you get 3M brand wrap

Hi fellas

Than you all so much for your kind replies, I guess there's nothing I can do about it, I have ordered a new hood badge and Matt black wrap for the bonnet, see how that looks. Insurance was a joke to get it done and I got quoted $750 for bonnet fill, dent remove and respray, so I'll see how I go. Definitely parking it far away from anything now
