Jeez, I've had my Boxster for over three years now, but I've never posted any pics of it. It's a 2001 S, with the two options I wanted most, the full-leather interior and Xenon headlights. I also love the Seal Gray paint.

My budget hasn't allowed me to do a ton of stuff to it, but I will list the few things I've been able to do.

I've added the black rocker stripe, and the wheels are BBS CH-R, 19x8.5 front and 19x10 rears, with Michelin Super Sport tires.

The side vents are the 03-04 versions, in Arctic Silver.

I've changed to the 03-04 taillights, and recently debadged.

In the interior, I've broken up the all-black interior with alum-look dash strips, the Exclusive shift knob, and the side dash vent slats. I spent months on painting the center vent slats to match, something even the factory doesn't do, and I am quite proud of them.

I've also fitted the 996 aluminum pedals, a B&M shifter, and the door pocket lids are padded and leather-covered.

And yes, I changed to non-S black gauge faces. I just always wanted my Porsche to have black gauges.

Really like what you've done. With those 19s, a little lower would look cool, but it's great as-is.

And I agree the car could be lower. After having a bad experience with lowering my former Miata (cracked oil pan, yow!), I'm gonna proceed very carefully. I'm thinking that when it is time to replace the shocks, I'll go with the ROW M030 kit, assuming they are still available at the time.

I've done the great majority of the work myself, using the info on this terrific board, including some relatively difficult and hairy stuff like changing the dash strips and the serpentine belt.

Last weekend I successfully (and safely!) changed the steering wheel directional stalk unit, which of course involved removing the driver's airbag. You better believe I handled that thing like the bomb that it is!

Knocked out looking Boxster! Great interior detail work.Seal is one of my very favorite colors.

When I found my Boxster S last year, it had been lowered with H and R springs and it became a problem in the real world.

I have it back to the USA M030 and all is well.Proceed with caution.

I guess I got lucky with my colored crest. Maybe it comes with the painted center console and roll hoops.

To answer woodsman's question, this particular combination does NOT increase ride stiffness. I've come to realize that it's the TIRES that are the critical element. For the winter months, I ride on my original 17" wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires, and...amazingly enough, the ride on the 19s is softer and more comfortable than on the 17s.

My steering wheel crest is colored, but it has faded some over the years. For some reason my two keys had all silver crests, though, so I changed them to colored after reshaping the insets slightly.

May i ask what sizes and brand of tires you used for this combo? Looks really nice!!!

My favorite color. Had an 04 S in seal gray and let my neighbor talk me out of it (for a price) and I have a C 4 in seal gray.

Thanks! The BBS CH-Rs are 19x8.5 front and 19x10 rear. The Michelin Pilot Super Sports are 225/35R19 front and 265/30R19 rear. These are the "standard" +2 sizes which are very close to the original diameter. No rubbing issues whatsoever, but the car is not lowered. To my eye, the offset of the wheels made the fronts seem a little too inboard, so I use 5mm spacers, just on the front.
