And I agree the car could be lower. After having a bad experience with lowering my former Miata (cracked oil pan, yow!), I'm gonna proceed very carefully. I'm thinking that when it is time to replace the shocks, I'll go with the ROW M030 kit, assuming they are still available at the time.

I've done the great majority of the work myself, using the info on this terrific board, including some relatively difficult and hairy stuff like changing the dash strips and the serpentine belt.

Last weekend I successfully (and safely!) changed the steering wheel directional stalk unit, which of course involved removing the driver's airbag. You better believe I handled that thing like the bomb that it is!
