Control Arm Bushings or Shocks

Need some input.........
Overall ride of my 2002 base has deteriorated over the past few weeks. Running 31 psi in front tires and noticed during recent inspection that inner and outer treads of both front tires are feathering.

I've searched this forum and internet to get some ideas but no luck.
Car currently has 144,000 miles. I am the third owner and purchased vehicle with 123,000 miles on odometer. I don't know what type of suspension maintenance has been completed in the past.

I am certain it needs an alignment, but the feathering on inner and outer tread has me stumped.

What are your thoughts based on experience - Control arm bushings or shocks?
