Part of the fun of owning any car is making changes to suit your whims.
Tinkering is also a hobby and not done for the value of the car. If your investing and thinking of resale, then better to leave it stock. My plan is to make the changes I like, but keep the stock parts for a while in case I change my mind or for resale. I typically drive a car till its dead or worn out and in this case, worn/dead means project opportunity for rebuilding into a track car. My Mods so far are the Double Din Radio(With Rear vision camera), Short Shifter, grippy wider tires on stock rims, magnetic oil drain plug. It came with Clear sidemarkers already when I bought it last year. I sure like the repainted consoles that I've seen done on this site, so that's on my list When something gets too worn needing replacment its upgrade time, so perhaps some new rims in the future. (When I need new tires) 53 by mid May, but not feeling it so I'm nearly a Geezer. |
Geez... Got a '98 Boxster about a year ago... Then suddenly it became this racecar!!! So I guess I modded it..... Just retired at 61 and I race it as much as I can get out! You young guys can't have all the fun!
