987 Boxster is an All Star!

I received my new issue of Automobile magazine in the mail yesterday and the Boxtser is one of their All Stars!

The brief write up highlights the numerous times in the past that the 986 Boxster received the magazine's All Star award and Car of the Year for the 1997 model. FYI...the new BMW 3 series is their Car of the Year.

Also of interest to Porschephiles, in that same publication...

Wendelin Wiedeking, Chairman, Porsche AG was named "Man of the Year".

"He has transformed Porsche from a money loser to a winner, diversified Porsche's product line, and most importantly has produced fantastic vehicles."

Car & Driver 10 Best

Just saw the January '06 Car & Driver and the Boxster returns to the 10 Best List.
