Took a few pics today, enjoy!

I love this car! Im really confused what the color is on it, to the naked eye it looks like a DARK charcol grey, sometimes it seems black but when I mess with some of the sharpening functions on photoshop, its like a green color... All depends on how the sun is hitting it....

Good looking ride. Is the interior yellow?

Thank you! Its Sierra Beige, so, its a mustardy color. I messed a little too much with the color enhancements on that pic LOL.

I believe they call it Savannah Beige.

BTW, The ride looks good. I have the same color interior.

I sent you a PM a week or so ago regarding your amber corner lenses and have not heard back from you. Do you still have them?

The color code onthe sticker under the front hood should be able to give you a lookup for color of exterior. My guess is forest green metallic or something like it...although yours looks darker maybe.

AH! You are right it is Savannah Beige... I knew it was, not sure why I wrote Sierra beige?

I still have my old headlight set but may keep them. If I ever sell the Boxster, Id remove the litronics and put the stock lights back in, Sorry. Have you tried eBay? I noticed you're in MA, there is a salvage yard in Concord NH that has a boxster in stock they may have those corner lights.

My front trunk has a sticker reflecting paint code "L744" Which translates to Black Pearl.... I just see different colors in the sun. Must be the metalic flakes in the paint.

Here's a weird tidbit I picked up a while ago, seems counter intuitive, but give it try sometime: I read an article in the local paper on taking car photos once and the photographer mentioned that the best light to really make your car pop in a photo, is overcast skies. Now I only take car photos on cloudy days and I see that they look great.

Dave, I could see why taking photos on overcast days is important. They say the same thing for wedding pictures. The lighting and reflections are not as intense. This was a clear sunny day and I got the reflections of everything off of my car! I think sunny would be OK if there was nothing to reflect or cast shadows around you.

This is true for most picture taking.
