HELP!!! Trunk completely stuck with NO Emergency Cable

Hello everyone,

I have yet another Dilemma with my Boxster.

PLEASE READ COMPLETE STORY BECAUSE MY EMERGENCY CABLE WAS SOMEHOW UNHOOKED AND JUST CAME OUT WHEN I PULLED ON IT.

I did the complete procedure of taking apart the rear bumper and removing everything, then I found the secondary trunk release cable, I then pulled on the cable to release the trunk lock but the complete cable came out as if it was never attached to anything.

Would anyone who has done this before or taken apart a complete Boxster be able to show/tell me an alternative way to open a stuck trunk lid without the emergency cable.

Now, is there ANY OTHER WAY to release the trunk lock. Or anywhere I can cut out a hole to be able to get to the lock mechanism to release it by hand?

Thanks in advance,

Riz
