987 Mirrors on a 986 Boxster...anyone done this mod?

Sourced a pair of inexpensive 987 mirrors... Fancied mounting these on my Boxster
they look far better imo

Has anyone done this mod...The mounting plates look very similar

you have two options Pete.
1. buy the mirrors for the very good price and let us know how it workes.
2. let me buy the mirror for the very good price, and i will let you know how it works.

ill be happy either way

Although the mounting plates look similar, they are not. So unless the 987 mounting plate can be used to mount directly to the car, not sure how this would be done. So I would suggest trying to see if the 987 mounting plate will mount to the 986 car.
