Does the instrument cluster from 2000+ S fit the 1998 model?

Hi all,
Anyone know whether or not an instrument cluster from a 2000 or 2001 Boxster S (white guage faces) would fit like a glove as a direct replacement/upgrade to the 1998 boxster's guages? I'm considering upgarding my instrument cluster.

A 2000 will work on a 1998, but a 2001 will not work.
