Cayman Hardtop

I'd really like to see one in person. I was talking/dreaming about this just the other day. Even made a few posts on the idea that someone would someday do this. I love the way it looks on the web page. It's just what I was looking for. Let's see if I can get a better and closer look, and see if I can get one sent to Spain.

I would love more info - the top looks well built and even has a hatchback.

tqtran 11-25-2005 06:15 PM

looks interesting...
only thing I wonder is, since it goes all the way back and covers the rear trunk, is there any vibration?

mikedivincent 11-25-2005 06:18 PM

Another concern - how can they assure that the top is secure and does NOT damage the paint under it where the top meets the body???

This top will retail for about 5K.

A bit pricey in comparison to the OEM top going for about half the price.

I'm in!!

I like it a lot!! The Cayman is a great looking Coupe, and if we have the ability to show those lines in winter while showing the convertible in summer, I'm there!! Obviously get the technical and paint integrity issues sorted out first....

Where's the 986 version? There's 250,000 986's out there that would love an updated look of the Cayman.

My comment? You should test your website to make sure it works with browsers besides IE.

Fantastic! All the weight of the Cayman roof and glass without all that pesky power.

Firefox 1.0.7 on WinXP Tablet SP2

I see their website, I do not see the animations. If I fire up IE and load the page, I see the animations.
