A few pictures!

So I just got a chance to take a few better pictures of my 2001 Boxster. It is the base with 56,000 miles.

I got it in December and have been posting since then, bit I figure I'd post a few pictures of it up here. Car is a little dirty as it is winter and I drive it, but I gave a little quick clean:

Thanks guys! I love keeping cars stock - especially a 12 year old car. Making it as close as possible to factory look and spec after so many years while driving it a lot is fun.

Originally my dream color combo is this blue with a tan interior, but I've grown to like the grey interior. The trick is making it look super clean always, dirt on grey shows up easy.

This lapiz blue also makes the car look newer than it is, IMO.

Nice!

Consider de-ambering those headlights.

After being on the forum for the last few weeks, I just realized that hubby's car had that mod done. It looks awesome.

Nice!

I am a new owner as well.

I like the outlaw style rear license plate, but you will get a ticket like that!

I have the same car except mine's Seal Grey with black interior. The only thing I don't like about the car now is that the wheels are 17s. Sitting beside my '06 Jetta with 18s and my wife's '12 Focus with 18s, the Boxster looks a little dated.

If only I could find someone who had 18s in that design that would trade for my 17s.

My mods: cupholderectomy, rear speakers, 9x7 short shifter, rain-sensing wiper controls, low temp thermostat, S oil cooler.

And don't forget, the '01s are best set up for replacing the 2.7 with a bigger engine!
