I just bought these ones recently and they work fine accept they rust like crazy.

I also purchased these. I chose to paint the hub for appearance, and have had no issues, rust or otherwise. They all rust if left wet. I even noticed rust on the rotors of some brand new 911s that I recently saw on display outside at the dealer.

Completely normal for the rotor surface to rust if the rotor gets wet. The rust will be scrubed off as soon as the brakes are applied. Nothing to worry about.

Rust on the hub or hat area is purely a cosmetic concern.

Comes with ceramics too. Idk. Maybe I'll try them out and post back.
The price is low enough to take the risk.

Also interested on feedback about the listed rotors. I'm wondering if they hold up ok during DEs, for instance.

What color did you paint yours?

I purchased the Balo's and Mintex pads from Pelican. The rotors are German made and was an OEM supplier for Porsche at one time.:cheers:

So just to update everyone.
I picked them up today and installed them.
While I was there I touched up my calipers and also painted the "hat" of the rotors.
Feels like my brakes are a bit tighter. (prolly because of the new ceramic pads)
All in all the look and quality is very good for the price.
No shakes/rattles at speed.

Not a bad deal at all.
I'll get pics up tomorrow when there's light out.

So how are these working out?

They work perfectly fine.
Took awhile for them to "break in" about 50-70 miles.
They feel great. Stopping feels shorter. But maybe because my old pads were worn out.
No shakes at highway speeds.
They look great!
If I had to change my brakes and rotors again I'd buy another set.
No rusting when left wet.
I don't know if they are track worthy yet.

thanks for reporting. I'm still on my original rotors after 13 years and 80+K miles and only recently replaced my pads last year. Being smooth on the brakes and throttle saves you a little bit of cash ...but not as much as I thought it seems. $220 is a steal, especially if you DIY. Although are drilled rotors really a good idea?

The S model has them stock. So..... I guess it's a good idea and it looks better and should cool down the rotors. IMO
As far as squealing goes NONE to report.
The installation took me total with paint 3hrs.
If I didn't have to wait for the paint to dry I'd say I could tackle this project in about 1.5hr-2hrs.

Pretty simple really,

Jack front end up,
remove tires,
remove brakes (just a pin and a shaft holding them in)
remove calipers (two bolts)
remove rotors (two screws)
and repeat backwards.
Same goes for the rears.

Not many tools involved at all.

They work just fine.
So far so good!
I've done some seriously sprinted driving and they hold up pretty good.
A lot less brake dust than the originals.
Aggressive driving with no fade in braking power.
Really easy to DIY.
