Is Porsche Sexist?
I'm starting to get a bit peeved.
It's my Boxster, in my name first, but the Porsche e-newsletter goes to hubby. Even though I also signed up for it, I don't get one. The PCA e-newsletter goes to hubby. I'm a member, with my own separate membership. Almost everything Porsche related goes to hubby. The dealer sends stuff in both our names, not my name alone. Isn't it 2013? It feels like 1954 around here! I know most men can't relate to this, but imagine if your wife was getting all the Porsche mail, and you didn't, even though it's your car . . . |
BMW does the same to my wife - her car in her name and all of the info comes to me. She always complains about it to the dealer rep's and .... nothing changes.

Didn't Title IX resolve this?

Only 1 thing to do:
Get rid of hubby. |

Also, with any of these e-newsletters, make sure they are on the "allow" list for any spam filters your email may be going through. |

your husband drives a carrera, you, just a box...so sad , We get no respect!

I don't get it. Everyone knows the Boxster is a chick car, so all the mail should go to you. Can't these people recognize a girls name?

My wife gets personal invites for Ferrari test drives when the concourse comes to Monterey. If the marketeers think she can buy a Ferrari it may just be an indicator that the smartest car folk aren't the ones managing the membership lists... And yes, I do want my own Ferrari invite. I have exactly the same means to purchase one as my wife has :) |
