Will someone ALERT when HF lift goes on sale?

Missed out when the Harbor Freight site had those scissor lifts on sale a few days back. I've been checking it daily, but I'd sure hate to miss it again. Of course I just got the 20% off coupon in my email the other day (it actually works on the more expensive of the 2 lifts!!).

Will someone bump this thread when it goes on sale?

LOL. What are we, your secretary? If you the one who is going to directly benefit from the cheaper price, and you can't be bothered to pay attention, why should we?

The guy who asked if the Atlas lift had enough room for an engine drop. Did you ask him why not just buy it and find out for himself? No.

This is a forum if you haven't noticed. I can get an email notification when the thread is bumped. If you can manage to get me an email notification from the Harbor Freight website, then I'll no longer need all my "secretaries". It's not about "being bothered" to check the price. Others probably missed out as well because the price changed so quickly. Some people can't camp out on the computer the whole day to constantly check the price. I'm calling on my forum friends to increase the number of eyes I have on it throughout the day.

If you're not a member of the HB Insider Club, its worth the money. You get emails of sales that the general public never see and these go on sale in those ads. Next time your by a store sign up. If I see one I will post it for you.

Best of luck!

You know, I get a ton of emails from HF, but I've never seen the lift in any of them. It's usually all the sub-$10 "crap"

I'm thinking that's different than the Insider Club. I may have to sign up for that!

The currently have another model on sale at a decent price.

The difference appears to be the motor/pump and that it has a max height of 39" as opposed to 56" so if that isn't a big deal, with the 20% coupon, you are under $800 + shipping. The min height is actually better though imo, approx 4" instead of 7"...no worry of having to use planks with the Boxster for clearance.

Strange that off sale it is actually a lot more than the other one.

Central Hydraulics - Item#46604

Hydraulic Scissor Lift - 6000 Lb. Capacity

Unfortunately, the coupon I have doesn't work on that one when I add it to my cart... It works on the more expensive one though.

Thanks, this is the one that that would work for me. I don't need the car lifted into the rafters; anything equal to or greater than the jackstands that I've been using for 30 years is sufficient!
