stiff gearchange
 

My gear change seems to be very stiff across the neutral position,it selects all gears but wont cross to 1st and 2nd or 5th and rev without a good bit of pressure Ive stripped out the shifter boot and lubricated everything in sight,where else should i check

The cables at the back where they attach to the gearbox, they corrode and fray here
