Engine rpm goes down and almost die on first gear
Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum. I have a question? I have a boxter since august and the engine run fine when cold at startup in first gears but when the engine is hot i have to give a lot more gas if i dont want to stall the engine in first gear. Do anyone knows what coud be the problem? Since i dont want to go to the dealer with this yet! And it's the only bug but an anoying one. Boxster 1999 2.5l |
clutch going bad ?
really just a guess, I know that was a symptom when my clutch was going

If you also have a slight rough idle then its probably that your throttle body is dirty.

If it was the clutch it would do it when its cold.
The trotle body and idle sensor have just being clean the engine run like a charm cold or warm 800 rpm and regular... Its very strange feeling when i start on a corner if i dont give some rpm the engine stall and it happen only when the engine is hot. Tanks, Andre |
I'm going to guess it's a vacuum leak. Worth checking.

Tanks guys I will have a look at vacum , but when i tink of it it mit be the clutch
