however... $500K? That's a lot of clams. I could have a garage full of 997 GT3, 981 S, a Cayenne Turbo for winter and what the hell toss in a Panamera Turbo too for fancy night out. All powerful, all under hassle free warranty, all beautiful Porsches for the same money.
Or if you're a purist, you could have like a whole bunch of mint condition 964 Turbos that are only going up in value each year.
All that being said you have to admire the passion for their work. Maybe they can scale it down for more practical budgets. Pelican always has some great air-cooled restoration threads of guys doing amazing work in their garages. If I had that kind of skill I'd be doing the same.
