My A/C system is fully charged and it cools exactly as it should. So hear is my question.
My A/C expansion valve operates to reduce the pressure differences between the high and low sides when the radiator fans turn on at high speed. I can hear this take when I open the front hood and listen.
I've heard the car's computer turns off the A/C compressor during high speed fan operations to keep the engine temperature from increasing as fast as it would with the A/C operating. If this is true, I am guessing that it also triggers the high pressure switch to equalize the system pressures through the expansion valve.
I look forward to your thoughts on this.
Thanks
