Where is it coming from?

Any help in finding out where the leak is coming from from these water marks would be appreciated. After a heavy rain both door carpets wet soaked below the speakers.

i get the same leaks but not nearly that bad when i wash my car-i was assuming it was that lower window seal

Given the leak location, my best guess is one of these two parts (or both) is defective:
  • 996 537 532 05 - sealing for door slot
  • 996 537 532 06 - inner gasket

If the leak begins just behind the windshield, then it might be: 986 537 077 02 windshield frame gasket

Thanks for the input, are those only available from the dealer or are there after market for them?

Just replace the weather stripping around the window on the convertible top.

I get leaks from that location when the door is open. Luckily the weather stripping does it's job when my door/window is closed.

The "weather stripping" you are talking about is a $1200.00 dollar item as it is integrated into the top seal. This is not a cheap venture if you choose to go this route. If you think I am kidding:

The parts I suggested looking are not the weather stripping associated with the convertible top. They are either on the door or the windshield pillar. Still, they are expensive - a couple of hundred bucks each - as the Pelican Parts site shows

I'd call up a couple of Porsche specialty dismantlers first and see what they have to offer.
