Any Singles Out There?

Today is the PERFECT day to get married! You NEVER will be able to forget your anniversary.

Someone should have given guys a "heads up" a few months ago to plan the wedding.

…as for me it's too late. So I did the next best thing….got married 2 days BEFORE my Birthday! Never forget or my toy supply runs dry.

If you need to marry on a specific date so you don't forget I'd submit you are marrying the wrong person and if that's true you'll never forget.

It's easiest to remember your wedding anniversary when you don't get married

I'm with you Pwave, IMO marriage made a lot more sense when life expectancy was about 32

I am 22 out of 26 for anniversaries and still married. All I can say is that she knew that I was an idiot when she married me.

Never been married. My friends say I'm picky. Maybe, but who has 2 (well, 3) Porsches?

My stupid cousin got married on a Tue so he could remember the date - Mar 21, 2000 - or 3/21/00.

I guess I would fit that description. I have 3 and each of them rarely driven. Too many cars. Have to move 1 to get one out. Sometimes two to get the others out. And yes happily Married & kids all have their own careers.

If you didn't know, you'd think that was the Danger Mobile.

Not for me Ekam, all that sticker does is reinforce the idiotic notion that we only buy these cars to be noticed. I still have friends that don't even know I have a Porsche, I bought it to give me a motorcycle experience on four wheels, not to steam open clams.

I don't think you get the joke Ghostrider... it's a parody of the family sticker people put on the rear window...

Marriage is not so bad, but kids are what really screw up your life. Once you have kids , no Vegas, no more hobbies, etc, you just spend your remaining hours on this earth picking up their toys, fixing the damage they inflict on everything, and driving a car bigger than what you really want.

I understood the joke, still think a dollar sign on a Porsche is like writing "scratch me" on it. To Skrap, I've been helping my dad where I can, he has dementia and the assistance is pretty grim. Point being you may be further ahead of the game than us singles.

Ahhh…but they DO eventually leave home! Granted it may take 30 years, but they do leave! Then, your wife is picking up YOUR toys, teeth and whatever money you have not spent!

I always forget our anniversary but I have a way of making it work. I randomly buy her flowers and little gifts and tell her happy anniversary and she is always telling me I am being silly as it's not till...oh when ever she says...
