Braking Hard!

So I've been hitting the brakes hard to lose the squeek noise you get after a car wash the old accelerate to 80/100km and then hit the brake hard but now I can hear a rubbing sound coming from the front left tire is this from breaking too hard?

When the brakes are in proper condition hitting them hard should not produce an ongoing noise miles afterwards. Something needs to be looked at, could just be a pad hanging up or rubbing the rotor edge, pull the tire and visually inspect or post pic.

Maybe your new BIGGER wheels are rubbing the wheel well.

Use your leaf blower after a car wash to dry the wheels, barrels, calipers, and cross drilled rotors.

There's no reason to hit your brakes HARD to eliminate water from washing. I rarely do anything, so what if they stick a bit when you take off the next day, they clear with the first stop.

Brake pads worn out on the inside of the rotor?
