I'm still trying to get used to the idea of high end sportscars riding around on 18" wheels. Now we're talking abuout 19" wheels??
What's next? taking 50 mph turns on 20" wheels?!
....more rubber less wheel please.

With the 997 offset the wheel would sitting much further in towards the center of the car and, on top of that, it is an 1.5" wider so you'd really have clearance problems.
Do yourself a favor and buy the Boxster version of the wheel from Chris C Atlanta, bolt them up and go.
Thanks guys. I have a set of 19" Carrera S wheels (987 version) already on order. I had seen a set of 997s for sale and began to wonder, hence the question. Since many argue performance decreases when going to the 19s I figured it would probably suffer even more when widening that tire. I do like the fat rubber on the 997s though.
