Speedster Covers
I think the Boxster looks great with the speedster covers! I would like to hear some comments about these from the forum. Also, do you think the 986 Speedster Covers (#986 504 944 01 G2X) would fit the new 987??
Thanks!

Are you talking about the speedster humps?
There's a thread on the forum with a poll and most don't like them. I like them though.
I do not think the 986 humps will fit on a 987, but if you can find a pair and try it we might all be surprised. I bet they fit as far as size and placement goes, but the brackets and clips probably wouldn't have spots lining up right.

I love the speedster humps, but not enough to pay the price.

I have them on my 02s - they came with car when I purchased it, I have not even put them on this whole summer, whe I first got my Boxster, I took them out of their little bags, checked it out, put them back and have not brought them out since. I think it looks neat but when you leave them on then you can't put top up when you want to run in and out of places. Gives it the old speedster nostalgic look. Recently I saw an American made auto with humps on its back, fairly new model convertible/speedster.

The 986 humps do not fit the 987.
