Replacing SunVisor Mirror Cover!

My SunVisor Mirror Cover Hinge pin is broken and it is loose out from my the SunVisor. Do I need to replace the whole SunVisor or just the mirror cover? I found a new SunVisor for 2001 Boster S. Part # is 944 731 031 01 70A. Is it the same part with my 1997 Boxster? Thanks.

I don't the part number you are showing is the right one; It should start with a 986 or 996. Here are some references for repair or replace:

The mirrors aren't very expensive (about $20 (?)).

The whole unit comes out quite easily, press to fit.

Cheap for a new one at your dealer.
