Oil Leak only when going uphill - Question?

Hey guys,

I am new to the Porsche world and this is my first post. I just got my 99 2.5L Boxster with 26K miles a couple of weeks ago, and I love it. I had to change the water pump because it was leaking coolant, replaced all the coolant as well. I also have a power steering fluid leak, but we didn't have the seals kit at the moment, so that fix is pending.

I did the oil maintenance as well.

The car normally does not leak oil. But I have started to park on a 4th floor. Every time I go up the ramps and park, some oil leaks from were I circled in the pic:

I guess it is because of the angle of the car going up the ramps. It is not a big leak, maybe 15 to 20 drops. It only happens when I go uphill. If I use the car on level surface it won't leak at all.

Anyone know what this could be? RMS maybe? Thanks in advanced.

The reason it leaks going uphill is that maybe the oil is pooling in the triagulated alloy plate under the engine.
If you remove the plate, you should be able to locate the source of the leak.... possibly from the AOS, spark plug tubes or cambox seal.

My vote is for spark plug tubes

Ok thank you guys for your quick responses!

Has anyone here experienced this kind of leak?

Lots of us have......
The spark plug tube has 2 x O ring seals to prevent oil from the cambox leaking out - after many miles / years these O rings harden and leak.
Not expensive or difficult to do - use the search function and you will get some idea of how they are replaced.
