Hinge replacements...

The hinge on my center console armrest cover is shot. I hear it's a common problem with older boxsters and folks who just aren't real gentle with theirs.

A while back, I found a guy on the internet who sold metal replacements for this piece that wouldn't break and I can't remember where he is or even the name of his little company.

Has anyone replaced the hinge? If so, did you buy the part from Porsche or what?

I looked at the Boxster TSB and it looks the same as the 996 TSB:

Thanks Steve! (Steve hooked me up for $39.99 with an improved, all metal Porsche part for this oh-so-fragile original piece).
