Crush washer
The crush washers i ordered off pelican look like just a nromal washer. I tripple checked what i was ordering. Other crush washers i have used on other cArs seemed like something you could actually crush. Has anyone else bought the crush washer from pelican and it shows up looking like just a washer???

I haven't bought any from Pelican yet, but the ones that I got from a competitor in Arizona look just like a regular washer. They don't have the bulge that some crush washers have. I can't type the name of the company, because whenever I try to, it is blocked by this site.

As far as I have seen, they all just look like a regular washer - even from the dealer.

I must admit I was fooled into thinking that it would compress but not to the naked eye. When I drained my oil to install a replacement ims guardian pigtail I used the old crush washer because I did not have a new one. It was suggested on this forum that I should use a new one. Ordered from Pelican parts at $.25 each there is no excuse. I replaced it and can now live with myself!
