Painted Roll Bars

For those of you with the painted roll bar option...how durable is the paint on that type of surface? Does it scratch, chip or get marked-up? Thanks.

Aslo, why did you select this option?

Hi,

I have it on my Guards Red '99. It came with the Car, but was on my Wish List. Really sets the car off.

The Paint is as good as that used on the Body and requires the same care. I clean it using a soft rag, then polish it with Zaino. No chips, scratces or whatever, of course, this is because of how it's used. You'd have to be pretty hard on the car to scratch or chip it it's in such an out-of-the-way pace.

Happy Motoring!...Jim'99

my yellow roll bars are in fine shape. maintained same as MN - no problems. it really defines the hoops when top-down.
the yellow seat belts do show dirt, how-some-ever.
