PSM Question
Hi all,
I'm new to this forum, though I use/read other forums regularly (Harley Davidson). I recently purchased a 2001 Boxster base and replaced the low beam headlights today with a better H7 bulb. Now I notice the the "PSM Off" light on on my instrument cluster stays lit, even when I press the PSM switch nothing happens. I checked all the relavent fuses and they look okay. Any thoughts? |
Have your system scanned to find out what the PSM is doing, could be almost anything, but you won't know until it is scanned.....

I did leave the headlights on w/o engine running for an extended period while installing the new bulbs. I'm just a bit concerned that I may have disconnected something accidently while installing them. The "PSM Off" light was fine prior to the headlight bulb install.

Check your battery; sometimes the PSM and ABS lights are voltage related..............
