New Cayman
Here is a pic going around the web that is reportedly the new Cayman. Quite beautiful.

Hmmm...I still don't like the headlights
Looks to be the same as the 981, of course.
The rest, I like.

I like it as well. It's going to be difficult for me to decide to buy this version or the 2013 911 in 2016 when they're on sale for half price (or thereabouts).

Those MR2 doors have not grown on me one bit. I know CGT was the intended inspiration but in a small size it comes off MR2 to me. They should have gone with something fluid and less 2000's tuner car era.
The front end really is the saving grace of the new design. Makes me think Ferrari California, I guess the extra width gives it a more grown up look. The Panamera rear is okay.
Overall I'd say since this styling is tilted toward "modern" (not as many natural curves as the 986 concept car) it will look out-dated as soon as the next modern Porsche comes out. This is the same thing that happened at BMW once they abandoned the classic styling in favor of the Chris Bangle styling.

All I can say is if it looks as good as the 2012 Boxster,it will sell like hot-cakes. it is defiantly going to hurt 911 sales.

I believe the second gen MR2 is considered to be a rip-off of the Boxster, not the other way around.

does it really matter? It's 2013 already....time for a new design.
Not just copying what the MR2 body kit guys were doing with doors a decade ago

It looks to me that they are blending in some of the Carrera GT into the newest Boxster/Cayman line, and really trying to differentiate itself from the 911s.

I sure wish that Porsche would stop screwing around and just offer a 350-380hp flat six in the new Caymen S. That would be a car that would sell like hotcakes!
