The rubber seal is just pressed onto where the two vertical sections of sheetmetal are welded together and normally comes sealed from the factory. If someone has pulled off that seal and the channel drain hole in that corner is overwhelmed by too much water, it will leak.

If you are getting water seeping in under the seal, just pull off the seal and apply some silicone adhesive caulk or sealant to the point where the two sections of sheet metal meet and halfway down (about 3/4 of an inch) each side of the two sections of sheetmetal before pressing the rubber seal back on.

That will seal the underside of the rubber seal to the sheetmetal.

Make sure that you tuck the front of the seal under that little pop-off piece of metal trim.
