Anyone have Coco Mats in the bxster? Had them in my speedster and loved em, so considering for the boxster but need to see some pics. Anyone?

Coco mats
I've got them on the same color (seal grey) with metropol blue interior. +I really like the look. I forget where I got them but I did find a link thru this site
|
I got a set in May and really love them (I had a set in my 914). This is the site I ordered from Welcome To Cocomats.com
Mine are black with grey dots (in a 2000 base). I emailed them and they responded immediately. Great customer service and they even gave a military discount. |
I'm also considering these mats. Can anyone say how they fit?
|
They fit perfectly.
Note that the Velcro pads for the passenger side are an optional extra charge. The mats are so heavy they may not be needed. |

Exellent! I ordered a pair of blue and black Chequers. So classy!

I have a set that came with the car and I really like them. They have a really thick backing that is dimpled and they stay in place. The fit is great. Not a complaint, but an observation, is that they break down over time. I suspect that mine may be as old as the car. My mats are black and tan. The black fibers really build up on the edges and standout against the gray carpet. The driver side mat is starting to come apart and will need
replacing soon. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1449791953.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1449791967.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1449791980.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1449791996.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1449792008.jpg |

I was looking at the Cocomats.com site a few weeks ago. Got to wondering... are they coarse on bare feet? They have a few different types of material, I know.

I drive barefoot everywhere I go never have had a problem. That being said my left foot is either on the dead pedal or the clutch. |

I thought it was illegal also. Much to my surprise Wikipedia/Barefoot/way down the page/ clearly suggests otherwise.
Some people speculate that driving barefoot increases the risk of an accident if bare feet slip off the pedals.[111] It is legal throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom to drive barefoot.[111][112][113] However, in some US jurisdictions, police officers may ticket a driver for other things if the fact that they were driving barefoot or in flip-flops/high heeled shoes hindered their driving and/or resulted in an accident.[114] It must be true. It's on the internet. |
Haha i would imagine barefoot is much better than flip flops or shoes where the heel catches when releasing the clutch.
|
I've got numerous pairs of "clown shoes", primarily Docs and Keens, that are a bi-yatch to drive in. Plenty of clutch stumbles and curses till I acclimate, only to repeat when I revisit with proper footwear. Kinda like how Putt-Putt plays havoc on your golf game.

Jake has clown feet
What are they size 14? |

sadly, In tennis shoes yes, sperries are 13s though. |
I guess I'll be the odd man out. I think they look weird, haha :D
At $180, they better be made of unicorn hair with 24k gold trim. I'll stick with OEM. |
