I was born into a Porsche loving family, 3 days into life I was shoehorned into a 356 on my way home form the hospital. I didn't really know what it was like to grow up as a normal kid with ill handling heavy American cars. This spring my father celebrated 50 years as a PCA member, not sure if anyone has surpassed that mark. Over the years he's owned countless numbers of Porsches. My favorite of his collection was a 1970 Porsche 911 S Monte Carlo Rally Prototype, serial number .0002, currently owned by Peter Kitchak. And second in line was a '56 GS Carrera, it was a right hand drive with a v-sunroof and round windshield. Porsche must have changed to the new windshield but didn't have the tooling for the sunroof yet. That 4-cam motor had a distinctive sound. I started out owning 914s, and today the Box. Next plan is to pick up a mechanically sound late 80s Carrera and back date it to a '73 RSR.
