Bruce, great idea! I ended up putting a longer pull cord on mine so I could just reach up in my wheel well and pull it without having to remove anything...but I like your idea much better!

You are welcome, but I can't take full credit. I saw it some where on this forum before. When I had the bumper removed to clean the radiators, I relocated it then.

Hi guys,
This morning I got the front hood open with the emergency wire...

First I replaced the car batteri - but it did not Help..!!

Then I replaced the key batteri - bit it did not Help...!!

When I open the front hood the alarm went of and the red led on the dash is still flashing...

When I push the unlock button on the key, the red led in the key lights..

It is like the car does not communicate with the key......!!!!!
