I was looking to buy a hard top for my 99 Boxster,Zenith blue. How much do hard top go for from dealers? How much for used ones?

I've been looking into finding a used Artic Silver hardtop myself and I've found prices vary quite a bit.

I believe the typical asking price for a new hardtop is $3000, but a couple of Porsche dealers advertise special rates on new hardtops as low as $1400. Used hardtops have been advertised anywhere from $650 to $1500. Unfortunately for us, this is a popular time to buy a hardtop. If I can't find one for the right price I'm just going to wait until next summer.

Good luck in your search.

Can you tell me what dealers you found that have new HT's for 1400? I see that Brandywine advertised in Excellence for 1700 but those have long been sold they just don't update the ad.

I think it was Brandywine--- the colors in that price range were some of the less popular ones..
