wheels off and question
wheels are off and heading to powder coater for a nice gloss black coating! When I stick the wheels back on, which I am also going to be paiting the lug nuts...am I supposed to cover the lug nuts with anything...meaning some form of grease or anything or just clean em up with a wire brush (the threads) and call it a day?

I just cleaned the threads up.. As long as you torque them on properly you'll be fine.

put a little anti-seize on wheel bolt threads and as well as on back of wheel where it mates w/ rotor hat and hub.

Manual says to grease threads and underside of bolt, but NOT the cone. I use oil.

+1 on Anti-seize
And, be sure to torque them properly. But whether you're taking your wheels off in the garage next time, or a K-Mart parking lot in BFE, you'll thank yourself for that bit of anti-seize. Also, make sure your tool kit still has the threaded bar you use to align the wheels when you put them back on.

It's also a good time to give the bolt heads a nice coat of paint to match the wheels.

Done - Gloss black and they look real good. wire brushed the heads, cleaned em up, two coats of gloss black. Lets get together when the wheels are done and you can see the new fancy!

What is this threaded bar you speak of and does everyone use this to put the wheels back on? I am not familiar!

It's an aluminum rod about 8 inches long and the diameter of a lug bolt. About one inch of one end is threaded. It helps when taking your wheels off or putting them back on. When you remove the first lug bolt thread this rod into that hole, then remove the rest of the lug bolts. You can then slide the wheel off without causing any damage. When you put the wheel back on just thread it into the top most hole hand tight and slide the wheel over it. It makes lining up the wheel easier than trying to hold it in place while you start the first lug bolt. One came with your tool set.
