Unhappy and up in smoke it went

Ok....you may have read my post last week about overheating my 00' boster S. Long story short, out of coolant, motor overheated, oil pressure light came on for brief second. Towed the car to my local Porsche specialist. They said I had two bad fan resistors, changed the oil and all seemed fine. Then this morning, I accelerated away from a stop light, big cloud of smoke, and check engine light came on. I immediately shut it down, coasted to a parking lot and parked it. Check the oil and it doesn't look whitish....but doesn't look clean either. Smells of antifreeze.

Now I know the obvious issue is probably a blown head gasket !

I guess my next question is.....what other possibilities? How difficult of a job for a DIY guy that has rebuilt many old motors. How much am I looking at to have shop do the work? I know it is $$$, just trying to see how many $$$ signs I need.

Thanks as always, this group is great!
