Dash speaker not work

2001 Boxster

My passenger side dash speaker decided to stop working. The door speakers and the driver side dash speaker appear to be producing sound. I checked the balance controls on my Sony headunit to see if I inadvertantly changed it, but that didn't help.

I did have my indy get a new set of key fobs (head unit) and picked up the car yesterday. I know they did not use the stereo since I did not give them my detachable faceplate.

Do you think the programming process would have cause something to short?

Thanks

No, I don't see how that would be possible. All they do is plug into the OBD port.

Your issue is (IMO) unrelated.
