Side marker lights Q

So I did my bumper removal/radiator clean this morning. Went ok tho I broke two lower rivets in the wheel well...need to order some replacements...

Anyhow..

I noticed when done my side marker lights weren't working as "turn signal". I checked with a multi-meter and they are getting a up/down in voltage. When I turn my "dims" lights on then they light solid... and only my front right headlight illums. When I turn my brights on, then both headlights and the side lights are on. My brights also work.

So I guess Q is...
1. I assume my side marker lights should blink as emergency and turn signal yes?
2. I assume my dim light not working driver side means something else is wrong?

thoughts?

thanks,
comet

That's correct, they're not turn signals, although you can hack it with a relay to turn them into signals.

Wow ok I thought they were turn signals...so sounds like that is good.

What about the white "dims" only being on the passenger side?

thanks!
