Ordered 981 Boxster S Badge
 

Just ordered the new 981 Boxster S badge for the rear hatch. My 12 year old badging has seen better days silver is wearing through to black on a number of the edges.

I like the sharper font of the new badge but I did notice while drooling on a new 981 that it's smaller then our 986 badging.

We will see on Friday how it looks. :)

Anyone else already do this?

I've been wanting to do this, along with the PORSCHE badge. I really like the way the read deck looks on the 981s. As of last week, Suncoast was still not showing the Boxster S badge for the 981. Where did you order it?

I ordered it at my local dealer. It was in the warehouse so it should be in my hands today. I'm still trying to decide on the P O R S C H E I like the look on the 981 a lot but I'm also trying to not copy it. I'm trying to figure out if I could put that on the spoiler to only show when it's up but need to remake that surface since it's to close and has a bevel.

Part numbers for Boxster and S are

981-559-237-01 and 981-559-243-01

Other then a full parts list I have not found these numbers on-line anywhere.

Local stealer ship has treated me far better then I have ever expected. So far very happy with them and the pricing. PCA discount and he knocks some additional off since I've been buying a bunch of stuff there.
