what is the HOSE CLAMP TOOL folks are recommending? Where can you buy one?

You really didn't need it. Most of us replace the clamp type with screw clamp which is much easier to get back on than the clamp type.:cheers:

Makes sense replacing the clamp type with the screw type clamp after you get the clamp off. But isn't the reason to get this tool because taking off the clamp type is one of the hardest things to do?

I've done a few of these and you don't really need to remove the clamp. Each AOS I've bought comes with a new hose. I just cut the the old hose, remove the AOS out of the way. Once this is done you have clear access to the hose and clamps.

When installing I use a regular hose clamps and use a socket, long extention and ratchet to tighten. It's much easier to install and remove in the future.

That tool is worth its weight in gold. There are spring clamps all over this car and some of them can be a real bear to get off because of access. This tool makes it too easy and, if you have it, there is no need to start replacing all your spring clamps with screw-type hose clamps. Another great tool in the same department is the Snap-On round wire spring clamp pliers.
