I'm confused about new Key fob case!?!?

I need to order a new key fob case for my worn out key. I know that I am going to need to put my original electronics and RFID chip into the new case. I found this link on ebay, (others from this forum have ordered from here)

BRAND NEW PORSCHE REMOTE SMART KEY FOB KEYLESS ENTRY REPLACEMENT REPAIR SHELL 3B | eBay

I have a three button remote like the one that is shown on the link, but the compatability list says that it is NOT compatabile with a 2002 Boxster S.

Does know why this wont work or any other sources where I can order a new key fob case?

Buy it from Sunset or suncoast... I wouldn't trust these clowns on fleabay...

It looks like Suncoast dosen't carry a 3 button key fob case, and I can't seem to find a URL for sunset.

Is this not what you're looking for? You can always call them up to confirm.

I don't think that one will work, mine has a three button remote for the doors, front and rear trunks and does NOT have a lamp, but I will give them a call just to double check.

Just got off the phone with Suncoast. The photo on the ordering page for the front key fob cover that shows only two buttons is for the model years 97-00. It was confirmed that the 2001-2004 cover does indeed have three buttons. So I placed the order. Thanks again ekam for all of your help. Its funny, in the age of internet, we somtimes forget the old "make a phone call and ask" trick, works almost every time. :)

Glad I can help. They're easy to deal with over the phone. I only use their site as reference when I order over the phone with them since I'm in Canada and their site is not setup for that.
