The "good" news is that its not likely to get better on its own and as it happens more frequently (and for a longer duration) it will be easier to find the cause.

But to be honest, I'm not sure that is going to make you feel any better.

My best guess would be the Bendix drive on the starter. It has happened to others here on the forum. When it gets dry on lube, it makes a squealing noise when you hit the starter.
