Question about transmission mounts

Are transmission mounts (the cylinder with oil in it, not the bracket) for tiptronics different than manual mounts? This part is sold separately for manuals, but not Tiptronic that is more expensive. They look the same in parts diagram.

Hi all sorry for resurrecting this post. I have a similar concern, Can the 986 experts help clarify if what i bought will fit? I have a tiptronic tranny and placed an order in pelican for the manual tranny mounts and bought the corteco brand (see link below) i assumed the tip and manual uses the same because there's no offering specific for the tiptronic

http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/986M/POR_986M_TRANSM_pg4.htm#item30

It is 68.50 a piece and thought it was a good price for an oem supplier

Then i saw pedros post about the 993 tranny mounts to be the supposedly replacement one.

And now im like "did i just wasted 139 bucks?"

Please help :)

Pedro are you there?

Regards

Mike (pedrof)
