I don't go by temp, I go by feel. If I start feeling like its too damn hot, up the top goes. On comes the A/C. Baking on black leather seats is not my idea of fun. I actually prefer it cooler with the top down. So its just comfortable. Night time is great for top down driving in the summer, or early morning.

living in southern texas I can tell you when its above 90 top is up; below 90 top down ! which basically means in the summer I only drive with it down in the evenings !

It's a bit mood dependant, but generally between 50 and 90+ . If it's 50 I may have the heat on, and the A/C if it's hot and humid.
